First true Geocaching outing of the year. Yesterday the sun was out and the temperatures were in the lower 50′s, the first time this has happened for the past four or five months. My girlfriend and I drove over to downtown St. Paul and collected a couple of the geocaches along the river. It was a beautiful day to be out hiking. All in all, we walked at least three miles along the river before heading for home. I’m looking forward to our next outing later this week.
I’ve got a New Year’s resolution to collect two geocaches a week on average. I’m up to nine for the year (15 behind), but I not too worried as it should be really easy to catch up now that the snow has melted off. If everything goes well this year, I’ll add 104 caches to my list.
